The principle of Tibetan medicine is: whatever is beneficial is medicine, and anything that makes you unhappy or you problems, is disease.
All diseases have experienced in our body condition and the cause. There are four conditions: time unbalanced, unbalanced food, body and behavior of bacteria. These four conditions that make that diseases do not manifest manifest. We say that all diseases are not apparent first, that the qualities of pre-existing disease in the body are the four conditions that make manifest the disease.
There are three causes of disease, ignorance, attachment and anger. Whenever we have these three emotions unmanifested. When manifiestasn cause physical illness. Similarly, when physical ailments manifest themselves also manifest mental illness, who are these three emotions. In short, body and mind are interdependent and affect each other. When one goes bad, affects the other. When the mind is unbalanced it affects the body and vice versa. Adicionalmnte, if conditions outside the cuantro mentioned above, is off, it also changes our physical balance. A change in physical balance also affects the mental balance. Are interdependent.
For that reason we must be careful if we want a healthy body and happy mind. We must be careful at these three levels: external factors, body and mind.
In Tibetan medicine all diseases are referred to the bile, phlegm and wind in the body. Bile corresponds to the element fire, phlegm to the elements earth and water and wind to the air element. On a more basic, all diseases - in fact everything - is connected to these three elements. Additionally diseases bile, phlegm and wind are connected to the three negative emotions. The bile is related to anger, ignorance up phlegm and wind with the attachment.
This means that ultimately the principle of Tibetan medicine is that all disease is ignorance and the latest medical knowledge.
