Sasusaku=vegeta And Bulma

an extraordinary woman

I just got this beautiful story to celebrate Women. I was excited to read it, by the tenderness that emerges from Cousteau's words, referring to his wife.

I would also add another anecdote that sent me these days as a PPS: One day the President and his wife Michelle Obama went to dinner at a restaurant, he was surprised to see that his wife greeted with great exuberance to the owner of the restaurant . She then told her husband that this man, the restaurant-had been very fond of her in their youth. Obama then said jokingly: "Look, if you'd married him, now would be a restaurant owner, to which she replied:" No dear, if I had married him, he now would be the President of the United States. "It was great.

ended the 40's, was not an easy time in Europe. The 2nd World War
had left France in ruins. Jacques Cousteau, a young naval officer
decide to turn around his life. With the help of his friends and a sponsor
secretly buys an old minesweeper
out of service and named it "Calypso." Waiver of marine and persuaded a group of divers
to accompany him on the great adventure of exploring the seas
filming the ocean floor.

gathered his savings and sold her house to pay the trip, his past and his future
were on that old ship. Departed for the Red Sea where they planned to shoot
his first film. Arriving
anchored the boat off the coast of Egypt and all the men went overboard, the boat was only
Cousteau's wife, Simone.

While divers were in full work started a kind of storm.
Divers were unable to return to the boat and had to swim to shore.
From there beheld the Calypso, which shook with every stroke of the wave,
tugging at the anchor rope would break inevitably. Cousteau
feared for his wife, a thin woman who had no idea of \u200b\u200bships or
navigation. Divers powerless prisoners awaited break out the anchor
to see how all his hopes sank with the old ship.

The anchor broke out in a burst
dry and immediately heard the boat motor that was put in place, tacked to port and into the sea in front of the storm. At the helm was Simone Cousteau and seemed
be willing to let sink the Calypso, as he knew nothing about sailing
decided to go offshore, where it could not hit anything.

Eight hours did the struggle between the old sweeper and the sea, eight hours
where a single woman who had never been on a boat, pulled
forces anything to keep their dreams and those of her husband
sank that day.

When the storm ended took the boat to shore, but as you know
dock and I had no anchor, it just floated
drifting with the engine off waiting for the divers, who watched the operation from land
, come to swim. Upon arrival they found a smiling Simone
that, to the surprise of all, the coffee was hot.

Many years passed and the old minesweeper became one of the most famous ocean
ships in the world, sailed the seas and all ports visited
. Cousteau acquired international fame. In 1980, during
a story, a reporter asked if it was difficult to command the Calypso, Cousteau
replied: "Not if Simone on board, she is the cook, the mother
of thirty sailors, who counsels, which puts end to the fighting, which commands us to
shaving, we cry, that we cherish, the hairdresser to
board, our best critics, our first fan, which saves the boat
storms. She is the smile and greeting every morning before going to sleep
. The Calypso could have lived without me ... but not without
Simone. "

A woman who lived between cameras and never himself to be photographed, was not on
any encyclopedias of Calypso, refused to be seen in the movies
and most people never saw his face.

In the women's international day our tribute to Simone Cousteau ...
and all women who struggle in silence.
